In short
We provide guidance, review, analysis and editorial support. You remain the author of your research and follow your institution’s rules. Every engagement has a written scope that sets out the deliverables, timeline, fee and revisions. We do not guarantee publication, acceptance, grades or degree outcomes. Your materials stay confidential, and the deliverables are yours once they are paid for. Indian law applies to these terms.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or engage Research Desire (“we”, “us”) for research support. By using the website or confirming an engagement, you agree to them.
Each engagement also has a written scope. If the scope and these terms differ, the scope applies to that engagement.
2. Our services
We provide research guidance and support: topic selection and research proposals, literature review and novelty identification, thesis and dissertation support, research and review papers, data analysis and Python implementation, AI algorithm development, journal publication guidance, and conference paper and presentation support. Each service page describes what is included.
Our support is advisory and editorial. We do not:
- write theses, chapters, papers or assignments for you to submit as your own work;
- submit work to universities, journals or conferences on your behalf; or
- sit examinations or vivas for you, or represent ourselves as you.
We may decline or end an engagement that would require us to act against these principles.
3. Your responsibilities
When you work with us, you agree to:
- remain the author of your research and make its academic decisions;
- check your institution’s rules on external support, and disclose our support where those rules require it;
- give us accurate information, and share only materials you have the right to share;
- obtain the approvals your research needs, such as ethics approval for data collection; and
- send inputs and feedback on time, because delays can move the agreed dates.
4. Scope, fees and payment
- After the first discussion we send a written scope listing the deliverables, timeline, fee, payment stages and the revisions included.
- Work starts when you confirm the scope and make any first payment it asks for.
- Fees are as stated in the scope, plus any taxes that apply by law.
- Work outside the scope, such as new chapters, analyses or experiments, is quoted separately and starts only after you agree to it.
5. Timelines
We work to the dates in your scope. They depend on receiving your inputs and feedback on time; if these arrive late, the dates move by a matching amount. If anything on our side affects a date, we will tell you promptly and agree a new one with you.
6. Revisions and corrections
Each service includes the revision rounds stated in your scope, within the agreed window. Changes your supervisor asks for count as revisions. Errors on our side are corrected at no extra cost.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel an engagement at any time by writing to us. You pay for the work completed up to the date of cancellation, and we refund any amount paid for work that has not started. If your scope sets out different cancellation terms, those apply.
8. No guarantee of outcomes
Decisions on publication, acceptance, grades, examination results and degree awards are made by journals, reviewers, examiners and institutions. We do not guarantee any of them. Our commitment is to deliver the support described in your scope with reasonable skill and care.
9. Confidentiality
We keep your research materials and personal information confidential, use them only for your engagement, and never share or reuse them. We sign a confidentiality agreement on request.
10. Ownership
- Your research, drafts and data remain yours at all times.
- Deliverables produced for your engagement, such as feedback reports, analysis outputs, code and slides, belong to you once the fees for them are paid.
- Our general templates, checklists and know-how remain ours. You may use any copies included in your deliverables for your own research.
- The content and design of this website belong to Research Desire and may not be copied without permission.
11. Using this website
- Articles, guides and other website content are general information, not advice for your specific situation.
- Do not misuse the website, for example by trying to disrupt it or by sending false enquiries.
- Links to other websites and apps, including WhatsApp, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by institutions, journals or examiners. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it promptly and in good faith. Disputes that cannot be resolved this way are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at the place of our registered office.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. The terms in place when your scope was agreed apply to that engagement.
